Tom Duncan

Tom was introduced to his family's hotel business in high school and worked through college in the Food & Beverage, Engineering and Bell Staff departments. He also worked task force, opening Yosemite's Tenaya Lodge and 2 hotels located in southwest Florida. While attending University of Dayton, Tom's love for hospitality transitioned from hotels to healthcare when he became a Doctor of Chiropractic graduating from Life University in 1996. While in private practice for 20 years in North Carolina, Tom became a licensed Real Estate Broker and began acquiring and renting commercial space. In 2016, Tom sold his chiropractic business and real estate portfolio to rejoin Boykin Management Company. His duties have included but are not limited to asset management, development, capital improvement projects, insurance and ensuring the Boykin culture grows and prospers through its people. Tom currently works out of the corporate office located in Cornelius, NC and resides in the Lake Norman area with his wife Kristy of 16+ years, and their three children Wagner, Wesley and Ina Rae and doodle Archer!
