Grand Opening of the Pink Shell Beach Resort’s New Marina

Fort Myers Beach, FL – February 20, 2013 – The Grand Opening of the Pink Shell Beach Resort’s new, state-of-the-art marina will be celebrated Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 4:30 pm with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Marina construction began on September 4, 2012. With over $1.2 million in renovations, the Pink Shell Marina now features 41 floating slips, each with power pedestals, and provides 30, 50 and 100 amp. electric service, water, HD Direct TV and wireless Wi-Fi. Not only does the new Pink Shell Marina have amazing features, but it also provides the fastest access to the Gulf of Mexico among all other southwest Florida public marinas.

The new Fort Myers Beach marina offers pump-put services, a full time Dock Master, trained service personnel, a Ships Store with marine supplies, ice, beverages and snacks for your convenience. The Pink Shell Marina will welcome transient, long term and boat groups, offering daily, weekly and monthly dockage. When docking at the Pink Shell Marina, guests will enjoy full access to Pink Shell Beach Resort, complete with concierge services, three refreshing pools, and three restaurants, including Bongo’s Poolside Bar & Grill. Marina guests will also have permission to the Pink Shell fitness center, shower facilities at their full-service Aquagene Spa, Audrey’s Market (convenience store located in the resort lobby), free beach chairs, and pool towels. Laundry facilities, a game room and beach activities are available at Pink Shell, as well as access to the popular children’s recreation program, KiddsKampp.

The New Pink Shell Marina is also host to boat rentals, charter fishing excursions, as well as the world renown, Colgate Offshore Sailing School.
